Lecture Description:
The presentation will examine the various architectural styles in Chautauqua and the characteristics that make its architecture unique. We will also explore the various levels of preservation and the approach that should be taken in preserving and enhancing our unique environment.
SPEAKER BIO:
Bob Jeffrey is an Historic Preservationist who redevelops historic properties in Florida, New York, and Pennsylvania. He holds an undergraduate degree in architecture from Miami University of Ohio and a master’s degree of architecture from Kent State University. He is a lifelong Chautauquan who started coming back for the full season in 2007. He has served on the Board of Trustees and chaired the Architectural Review Board. He currently sits on the Athenaeum Hotel Board. In St. Petersburg he sits on the Community Planning and Preservation Board. Bob’s hobbies include watercolor painting and gardening.
