Chautauqua Speaks

How did Nice Gals like you Start Doing Stand-up?

SPEAKER:

Sally Love and Nancy Stanley

SALLY LOVE BIOGRAPHY:

Sally was a radio and tv engineer in the 70’s, trained Russian factory workers in teamwork and time management, co-authored a popular book on Women’s spirituality, “Sacred Circles”, did executive recruiting for the mayor of Washington, DC, and became a yoga teacher after being fired by that mayor. Sally sees every experience as grist for the comedy she performs.

Nancy Stanley BIOGRAPHY:

Nancy started comedy at age 56 on the Lewis Black Comedy Cruise – going on 12 years. She runs a successful show in Tucson called “The Estrogen Hour” which has raised more than $50k for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and created space for dozens of first-time women comics.
