Jeanne Wiebenga, MD was born and raised in The Netherlands, where she graduated from medical school. After serving for several years in a mission hospital Ghana, West Africa, she had the opportunity to come to the United States to complete a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at SUNY, Buffalo.
During the 40 years of her professional career she worked on 5 continents, traveled widely and became an avid photographer.
Description:
In 2024, Jeanne made her third journey to Antarctica, which is one of her favorite places on earth, because of its pristine beauty and abundant wildlife. She will share her love for the continent in her presentation for the Chautauqua Women’s Club with photos and videos.
