As 2025 comes to a close, we invite you to consider one of the most tax-smart and impactful ways to give — a gift of appreciated stock to the Chautauqua Women’s Club.

How to Give Appreciated Stock

CWC’s account is managed by Morgan Stanley. You or your financial advisor can initiate a direct stock transfer to our account following the simple instructions below.

  1. Call Morgan Stanley (Luke Cortina) at 516-227-5696.
  2. Provide Morgan Stanley with your full name, email address, the name of the stock, and the number of shares being donated.
  3. Morgan Stanley will then provide the member with CWC’s full nine-digit account number and Morgan Stanley’s DTC Clearing Number.
  4. Morgan Stanley will then email the member once the shares are reflected in CWC’s respective brokerage account. 

All gifts of stock are liquidated upon receipt, and the proceeds are directed to the designated fund.

Please contact us by December 20, 2025, to ensure your gift is completed before year-end.
