DESCRIPTION:

This session explores the direct influence of breath on stress response, abdominal health, digestive function, and overall mental clarity. Participants will learn simple, effective techniques to strengthen breath and core muscles to improve whole-body function without the need for specialized equipment.

Facilitator:

Dr. Gaynell Anderson is a passionate health educator with over 36 years of experience in Physical Therapy and Wellness. Receiving her undergraduate degree from Daemen College in Buffalo NY and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Florida Gulf Coast University, she is not just a practitioner but also a former adjunct professor, sharing her knowledge with clients and future therapists.

Dr. Anderson’s expertise spans from orthopedic and sports rehabilitation to specialized programs in pelvic floor and abdominal health, and breath strengthening. As a Certified Health Coach, a Certified Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapist, and a Certified Hypopressives with Apnea Instructor, she takes a holistic approach to wellness, believing that education is the cornerstone of optimal health.

Her dedication to community health shines through her role as co-founder of A Euphoric Living Foundation Inc and co-producer of the “SpelLIFE” podcast, where she explores the interconnections of physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

With a rich background that includes working with the Miami City Ballet and running successful therapy practices, Dr. Anderson continues to inspire and educate through speaking engagements and private care, championing the power of knowledge in achieving and maintaining vibrant health.
