- 4:00-5:30 PM
- CWC House
TICKET PRICE:
$50 per person
DESCRIPTION:
This session offers a practical, low-pressure way to reflect on what you want more of — and less of — in this stage of life. Using a simple vision boarding exercise, you’ll clarify what feels worth your time, energy, and attention. There’s no focus on big goals or reinvention — just a thoughtful check-in on what makes a good day and a meaningful year. Come as you are and take away a clearer sense of what matters most to you.
This session will be led by Leslie Strickler and Jenny Young.
What do Oprah, Jim Carrey, Beyoncé, and Reese Witherspoon have in common? Each has used vision boards as a simple tool to clarify priorities and stay focused on what matters most.
A vision board is a visual way to reflect on what you want more of in your life. Think of it as a scrapbook for the future — using images and words to capture what feels meaningful, energizing, and worth your time.
In this session, you’ll explore:
- What you want to keep, add, or let go of in this stage of life
- How you want to spend your time, energy, and attention
- What makes a good day — and a meaningful year — for you
Vision boarding isn’t about reinventing your life or setting unrealistic goals. It’s simply a way to stay connected to what matters, so the life you’re living continues to feel like your own.
What to expect:
Our in-person session will begin with a brief relaxation exercise to help quiet the mind and open up creative thinking. From there, you’ll begin building your own vision board using provided materials.
We’ll supply magazines, poster boards, scissors, and glue. You’re also welcome to bring personal photos, favorite images, or an iPad/laptop if you’d prefer to create a digital version. Wine will be served to help open up your creative side!
A follow-up virtual session will be held on Thursday, July 23 at 4:30pm EST (Zoom), offering an opportunity (optional) to share your board and reflect on the experience with others.
No experience is needed — just come as you are.
Venue located on Chautauqua Institution grounds; a gate pass is required.
