speaker bio:
Dr. Kirsten Travers-UyHam is the founder and portfolio manager of River Cam Partners, a global multi-asset hedge fund. She is also an Associate Professor in the Practice of Finance at Emory University’s Goizueta School of Business. Her research includes asset price models, allocation strategies, and econometric forecasting. Prior to this, Kirsten served as Managing Director at Bear Stearns and Co in New York and Houston. She began her career as an investment banking Associate at Donaldson, Lufkin, and Jenrette in New York. Kirsten grew up in Cambridge, UK and holds a BA with Honours in mathematics from Oxford University and a PhD in mathematics from Duke University. She is a Global Angel member of 100 Women in Finance and an active member of the Atlanta Chapter of the CFA Society. Kirsten lives in Atlanta, GA with her husband and their three children, where she loves bridge, cooking, and playing chamber music.
