speaker bio:

Susan Bradley is a pioneer in helping individuals and families navigate the emotional and practical realities of major financial transitions. She founded the Sudden Money® Institute more than two decades ago as a collaborative community dedicated to understanding the personal side of money—especially during moments of change, uncertainty, and reinvention.

Through this work, Susan helped develop the Certified Financial Transitionist® (CeFT®) designation and launched the Financial Transitionist® Institute, which trains advisors to support clients not just financially, but holistically.

A respected leader in the financial planning profession, Susan has served on the Financial Planning Association’s national board and currently advises the NFL Players Association on financial education. She also serves as Dean of Transitions for the Purposeful Planning Institute.

Susan is a frequent voice in national media, with appearances on NBC Nightly News, CNN, NPR, The Wall Street Journal, and The New York Times. She is the author of Sudden Money: Managing a Financial Windfall and the recipient of the 2017 Insiders Forum Iconoclast Award.
