A Word from Our President...

Dear CWC members,
As spring unfolds, I find myself reflecting on what draws us back, season after season. It is more than the remarkable speakers or programs. It is the feeling of belonging to something larger than ourselves. A vibrant, ever-growing community grounded in friendship, curiosity, and shared purpose.
At the heart of it all is the Chautauqua Women’s Club, where connections are made, ideas are explored, and personal growth is cultivated through leadership opportunities, exceptional programming, and memorable events. CWC gives back to the community while enriching the Chautauqua experience for so many.
This summer promises to be one of our most vibrant yet, and I cannot wait to welcome you back.
A Season Worth Showing Up For
Our lineup reflects the very best of Chautauqua—curious minds, bold conversations, and thought-provoking voices.
During Women’s Week, we are honored to welcome Wendy Steele, founder of Impact100 and a driving force behind the global giving circle movement. Twenty-five years ago, she sparked a simple but transformative idea: when individuals come together with shared purpose, they can create meaningful and lasting change.
Her talk will inspire and energize, offering a powerful blueprint for what we can achieve together. I encourage you to make this a priority on your calendar, including the reception that follows. It will set the tone for a season rooted in community and possibility.
Building Something That Lasts
This year, we are expanding our CWC Legacy Stewardship Fund—so that the experience we come to expect and treasure continues to thrive and grow for generations to come.
What we have at the Women’s Club is rare. It happens because people like you show up, invest, and care. The Legacy Stewardship Fund is our way of making sure that commitment has a lasting home, a foundation that sustains our mission well into the future, no matter what the world looks like in ten, twenty, or fifty years.
In the coming months, you will hear more about the Legacy Stewardship Fund and the many ways you can be part of it. I hope you will be curious, ask questions, and see yourself in this vision.
Looking Ahead
Inside this newsletter, you will find details about our season of speakers, events, scholarship opportunities, and membership updates. Please take a moment to look through it all. There is so much to look forward to. We will also have some upcoming events that are not listed. Stay tuned!
But more than anything, I want you to know this: CWC is what it is because of YOU! Your friendship, enthusiasm, and willingness to engage are what make me so passionate about what lies ahead.
With gratitude and anticipation,

Kelly Ann Boyce
