As Chautauqua Institution moves through a time of hopeful transition, the Chautauqua Women’s Club remains steady and a welcoming presence. We can’t wait to welcome you home.

CWC is rooted in 136 years of purpose and lifted by a bold belief:
We are stronger, wiser, and more joyful when we come together.

For generations, we’ve carried forward the Pillars of our mission: life-long learning, scholarship, and friendship. What makes this community so special is YOU – your ideas, your energy, and your passion. With more than 900 members strong, we offer more than just an iconic view, the Women’s Club offers a clear and compelling point of view on community life at Chautauqua. I hope you feel our presence in every detail, shaping all we do with purpose, integrity, and heart.

In honor of the courageous women who came before us, we’re stepping confidently into a new era of year-round connection. Our intimate gatherings, cultural adventures, outstanding virtual programs, and a growing list of reciprocal clubs add real value to your membership. There’s more to come, and it’s all designed with you in mind.
